If Your Boss Has a Baby Girl, You'll Probably Get a Raise . . . But If He Has a Son, You'll Make Less Money:

According to a new study by the University of Maryland and Columbia, your salary could depend on your boss's CHILDREN.

Workers at companies where the CEO's wife has a baby see their salaries DROP by zero-point-two percent on average . . . or one five hundredth.  That doesn't sound like much, but it works out to about $100 less a year.

If the CEO's first-born child is a BOY, people see their salaries drop by zero-point-four percent . . . or about $200 a year.  Women see their salaries drop by less.  Experts say it may be because fatherhood changes a male CEO's view on women.

So if you find out your CEO's wife is expecting, you should root for her to have a baby GIRL.  When the CEO's first-born is a daughter, employees actually get a RAISE.

Male employees get a zero-point-six percent raise, while female employees get a 1.1% raise.

A New "Smart Fork" Will Help You Lose Weight By Monitoring Your Eating and Yelling at You:

The Consumer Electronics Show is going on right now in Las Vegas.  And a new device that's getting a lot of attention is the HAPIfork . . . which is being pitched as a "SMART FORK" that will help you lose weight.  By judging you.

The fork uses built-in sensors to monitor how much food you're putting on the fork, how many forkfuls of food you're eating per minute, and how long you're pausing between shoveling bites of food into your mouth.

If you're putting too much on the fork or eating more than once every 10 seconds, it buzzes at you as a sign that you need to reel it in.

You can also download the data from the fork so you, or your doctor, can monitor your eating habits.

The fork costs $99 and is set to go on sale in the spring.
