Lars Ulrich says he's "not stressing" over when the next Metallica album gets done. The latest update on the long-awaited project appears in the Rolling Stone issue that hit newsstands Friday. In it, the drummer says he understands that people are waiting for new music from them, and that they'd like to put some out. They won't rush to finish an album in order to play gigs, though, because, he says, "We're already doing gigs. We'll get there."
Ulrich estimates they already have about 600 partial song ideas -- from rehearsals in January and March and jams while they were on tour.
