The new KISS stage show in support of their latest album, Monster, will be centered around a giant spider.
Speaking at last weekend's KISS convention in Indianapolis, Gene Simmons said, "This spider is just beyond anything you’ve seen -- it’ll shoot fireballs out of its tentacles. It’ll be able to be flat and come up and walk almost to the front of the stage... And we’re going to levitate and go 30 rows into the audience."
Of course Simmons also had to remind those on hand that this new production "costs a fortune to do, but it is for you [the fans]. It’ll be the best tour yet, you’ll see.” The tour starts June 1st in Stockholm, Sweden.
KISS is not the first act to have a spider featured in their set. David Bowie had one on his 1987 Glass Spider tour.
